We receive hundred of kind testimonials from satisfied customers. In replacing your broken Acer Aspire 5560 screen yourself, you could also save valuable time and money. Below, you'll find instructions that will help guide you through the screen replacement process.

How do you replace an Acer Aspire 5560 screen?

Step one

Before you begin, unplug our laptop from the mains power and disconnect any peripheral devices, (such as laptop speakers.) You should also make sure that you have removed the battery. Next, in the bottom two corners of the front bezel, you should see two, aesthetic covers, (used to disguise screws.) Use a flat edged implement, (such as a guitar plectrum or a razor,) to prise these covers off. Having removed them, (and set them aside safely,) remove the screws hidden underneath and, set them aside safely, also.

Next, separate the front bezel from the rest of the screen casing. Note: take care when working your way around the sides of the bezel as it is held in place using a number of plastic fasteners.

Step two

When you are sure that you have loosened the front bezel sufficiently, remove it from the laptop and, set it aside safely. You should now see the broken Acer Aspire 550 screen being held in place by four further screen, (one in each corner.) Remove each of these screws and, set them aside safely. Next, pull the top of the damaged display slightly towards you. Attached to the back, (and to,) of the scree, you should see the cable that runs towards the web camera. Disconnect this cable. Once you've done that, continue pulling the screen towards you until you can lay it face down, on the laptop keyboard.

Step three

On the back of the screen you should see the cable that runs towards the web camera fixed in place using a strip of adhesive. At the every bottom of the screen, you should also see a cable fixed, (with another piece of adhesive,) into a gold connector.

Disconnect this cable, also. Then, remove the screws located on each side of the screen. You should now be able to remove the damaged display from your machine. To fit your replacement Acer Aspire 5560 screen, all you need to do is complete the above instructions in reverse.
