How to replace a Dell Inspiron 14z N411z screen
Before beginning your repair, you'll need to unplug your laptop from the mains power and remove the battery. When you're ready to begin, use your fingers or a flat edged implement to prise the front bezel away from the rest of the screen casing. Work your way around each edge of the front bezel, separating it from the laptop. Note: the front bezel clicks in and out of place. When you are sure that you have loosened the front bezel sufficiently, remove it from the laptop and set it aside safely.
Having removed the front bezel, you should see the broken Dell Inspiron 14z N411z screen sitting in a metal holding frame. Locate, (and remove,) all of the screws, (four in total,) holding the damaged display in place. Next, take hold of the top of the damaged display and gently pull it towards you laying it to rest, face down, on the laptop keyboard. At the back, (and bottom,) of the screen, you should see a cable attached to a gold connector and held in place using a strip of adhesive. Disconnect this cable. Yous should now be able to remove the broken Dell Inspiron 14z N411z screen from your laptop.
