ASUSTeK Computer Incorporated, or ASUS are a Chinese manufacturer of laptop computers and tablet devices, mainly aimed at the gaming market.
In 2007 the company set a new standard for the laptop market and introduced the first publically aknowledged Netbook computer the EEEPC. A small and compact laptop computer, great for students and the mobile worker alike, these machines were almost a complete desktop replacement that would fit into a handbag.
Larger notebooks in the ASUS range generally have an emphasis on gaming, and usually higher end processors and graphics electronics. The laptops screens inside these machines are also usually of a higher end quality than typical competitors such as Packard Bell.
A little known brand in the laptop market, we recommend ASUS for the mobile gamer who does not want the restriction of a large desktop computer, we would like to warn you however other parts aside from the display are notoriously hard to find for these machines.
