Help finding your model number:

1. Searching by laptop type (recommended)

Acer Laptops

Model numbers usually are just numeric, e.g 2000, 2510, 6930, 7930G

Advent Laptops

These laptops usually have model numbers that are simply numeric, such as 7115, K1000, 6000, 8191

ASUS Laptops

Model numbers usually look like so, A6, X60, V6, EEEPC 900, ONE

DELL Laptops

Model numbers usually look like numbers such as 1700, M1330, 1100, 1545

Fujitsu Siemens Laptops

These can be searched for by model type such as Amilo Li2727, or just Amilo and 2727 would be better. Lifebook P7120 would be another example or better still just P7120.

IBM Lenovo Laptops

These laptops can be searched for by model type such as Thinkpad R51 or Thinkpad T60 however simply T60 would be prefereable for more verbose results.

Sony VAIO Laptops

These are only searchable by VGN number, for example VGN-TX2HP, however just TX2 would render better results. Occasionally your laptop will have only a PCG-XXXX number however this is rare.

Toshiba Laptops

These are the easiest to search for as model numbers are usually very simple. Do not use the PSX-XXXX number but rather the model number of your laptop such as A100, P200, M50 etc.

Other brands of Laptops

Follow the same principle, for a Philips Freevent X51 laptop your best chance of a match is to choose Philips from the pull down menu and the just search for X51.

2. Searching by LCD panel part number
(not recommended)

We strongly recommend searching by make and model as laptop screens ordered by part number can often not work anymore in your laptop due to changes in manufacturing.
If you know what you are doing you can search by part number use only the main part number and not the suffix, for example:

LTN154AT07-L01 we would suggest you search for LTN154AT07
LP154WX3 (TL) (A1) we would suggest you search for LP154WX3

This number is often on a sticker next to a barcode. It can sometimes be hidden under a foil that you need to remove from the rear of the laptop screen. Other times you may find this number etched into the metal frame around the front of the laptop screen glass.
