Does your laptop screen use an Inverter?Although there are many types of laptop screen on the market today, they can all be categorised into two types of backlight technology. LED backlit laptop screens and CCFL or inverter powered laptop screens. To tell which type you have you will need to remove the surrounding plastic frame (bezel) from the front of the laptop screen. A screen replacement video is available online to assist you. The inverter (shown in the image to the left) sits under the laptop screen and will have wires coming from the right hand side enter the screen at the bottom right. |
