Step three Next, pull the broken screen further towards you and lay it to rest, face down, on the keyboard in front. On the back of the screen, you should see along, thin cable attached. This is the rest of the web camera cable. Remove this cable from the back of the screen, loosening any adhesive, if necessary. At the bottom, (and back,) of the screen, you should also see a ribbon like cable attached to a golden connector. Disconnect this cable by releasing it from the connector, (peeling back any strips of adhesive holding it in place, if necessary.) Step four You should now be able to remove the broken Acer Aspire One D255E screen from your laptop.
