The laptop manufacturer has fitted more than one type of screen to this model that are not interchangeable. For this reason we require your assistance to help you identify the correct replacement part. Many suppliers are unaware of these anomalies and will provide the most common screen which may not be compatible for your machine. As we aim to provide 100% satisfaction, some models of laptop require this precaution.
We need you to remove the laptop screen display panel from the lid of the laptop screen. When you have done this we will help you identify the model number of the screen and therefore the correct replacement. You should start by watching this short video tutorial, this shows you how to remove the LCD screen. The process takes around 15 minutes.
On the back of the actual display screen inside the lid of your laptop. Once removed you will notice the model number printed on the back of the screen. Be careful to let us have any suffixes or revision numbers after the main part number as well. We´ve given some examples below to help you identify the model numbe.
The model number we require is usually by a barcode on the back of the old LCD screen panel. Laptop screen model numbers start with a 2 or 3 letter code that identifies the manufacturer of the screen. As there may be a manufacturers logo on the back of the laptop screen panel, this table may help you identify which code we require.
The model number of the LCD screen will usually be on one of the main stickers on the back of the screen. Below are some examples, we´ve circled the model numbers in red so you can see where they are, however all screens vary so this information is intended as a guide.
