On-Cell Touchscreen

On-cell touch technology integrates the touch-sensitive layer directly into the display panel instead of using a separate external digitiser. This produces a thinner, lighter screen with improved clarity, reduced reflections and responsive touch control. It provides an accurate and natural touchscreen experience while maintaining excellent image quality.

Should you buy this product?

This is a raw LCD panel only. If your laptop uses a bonded glass front touch screen, or a glass front rather than the usual plastic bezel, and you cannot reuse the old glass front part, then this product is not for you. You will need this LCD + the glass touch cover which we do not currently stock. If your old Toshiba Satellite U series screen is cracked, showing lines, flickering, completely black or white, it cannot be economically repaired and must be replaced with this compatible replacement screen.
