A little care is needed when removing the bezel, but we explain how this can be done without risk in the video.

The web cam, wireless antenna and other associated wiring that comes from the base stays fixed to the back lid and your broken laptop screen will simply fall out into your hands, once you remove the securing screws on the left and right hand sides. Modern laptop screens only have one cable that comes from the base of the laptop plugged into the back of them. This cable can only be fitted the correct way around, how's that for simplicity?

Older laptops can come with an additional cable at the bottom of the screen for the power, however this is not a worry for you as this cable is easily unplugged and can only be reconnected to the new screen the right way around. Watch the video you'll see what we mean :)
