How to replace an Asus Vivobook touchscreen
Though incredibly frustrating, a damaged Asus Vivobook s200 and s200e digitizer, (which is the touch screen part of the display), need not be a cause for concern. Replacements are surprisingly simple to source and fit.
Replacing an Asus Vivobook S200/S200e touchscreen
The details
To access the touch-screen on your Asus Vivobook S200 or s200e, all you need to do is remove the front screen bezel, using a small Phillips screwdriver (and a credit or debit card.) Carefully, (but gently) prise the front bezel off, taking care not to snap it in the process. Once you have done this, you should be able to access the digitizer, (the touch-screen facility which rests on top of the LCD screen itself.) When looking at the digitizer, you should see a cable connecting it to the main body of the machine. Disconnect this cable. All you then need do is fit the replacement touch-screen, (reconnecting the front bezel and re-attaching the front bezel.)
