The HP ProBook x360 11 G1 EE is a rugged, convertible laptop designed primarily for the education sector, particularly students and teachers. The "EE" in the name stands for "Education Edition," indicating its durability and features tailored for school environments.
Although it's a rugged device, its used and abused by students and one of the most common parts on this laptop to fail is the delicate glass screen. Unfortunately being a touch screen device, the display replacement isn't generic as it also includes the front touch part of the display with the HP logo and webcam hole.

Replacing the display:
Although the display replacement is hard to get hold of due to the additional touch screen parts, the actual fitting of the display is relatively straightforward.
1. Remove the 8 screws from the base of the laptop

2. Carefully lift the keyboard off using a spudger going around the edges

3.Disconnect the battery

4. Use Spudger to disconnect LCD glass from back cover

5. Disconnect LCD cable from LCD screen and remove the old display front from the back cover

6. Remove the frame from the old LCD screen and fit to the new LCD display.
7. Reconnect the LCD cable to the new display and controller board cable
8. Snap the new LCD into the back lid making sure all cables are routed correctly
