📦 What’s Been Happening
Although our parcels leave the UK with full and correct customs documentation, we’ve seen a consistent pattern once they arrive in Serbia. Nearly every shipment is:

Accepted by Deutsche Post,

Forwarded to Serbia’s local postal service, and then

Marked as “returning to sender” before the customer ever receives a delivery attempt.
This happens despite correct addresses, proper invoices, and full customs declarations.
🛃 Why This Happens
The issue lies within Serbia’s import and customs handling process. Common causes include:

Automatic rejection at customs despite proper documentation,

High or unpredictable import duties and handling fees that customers are never notified about in time,

Short holding periods before parcels are returned, often without any contact from the local postal service,

Strict import controls on electronic parts such as laptop screens.
Even when everything on our end is 100% correct, parcels are often returned without ever being offered to the recipient.
💸 The Impact on Our Customers and Our Business
This situation creates frustration for everyone:

Customers don’t receive their orders.

We face return shipping costs and product delays.

Packages spend weeks in transit only to end up back where they started.
Ultimately, this makes it impossible to guarantee reliable delivery times or successful customs clearance for Serbian shipments.
🚫 Our Decision
To protect both our customers and our business from further delays, uncertainty, and costs, we’ve suspended all shipping to Serbia until a reliable postal or courier solution becomes available.
We understand this is disappointing news, but we want to be upfront and transparent with you. We believe this is the most responsible choice until the delivery situation improves.
