Replacing a broken Acer Aspire S3 screen
Worried your broken screen will cost a fortune to repair? You could save valuable money, (and time,) by replacing your screen yourself. Below, you'll find helpful instructions that will guide you through the entire screen replacement process, from start to finish.
Acer Aspire S3 screen replacement
Step one
Unplug your laptop and rmeove the battery. You should also check that you've backed up all of your important data, (a must before beginning any repair!) Lastly, disconnect all external devices attached to your laptop, (eg, speakers/headphones.) Next, use your fingers, (or a razor or guitar plectrum,) to prise the front bezel off of the laptop. Ease the front bezel away from the laptop, carefully working your way around each edge. When yo have sufficiently loosened each edge of the front bezel, lift it free from the rest of the screen casing and, set it aside safely.

Step two
Disconnect the video cable located at the bottom of the broken Acer Aspire S3 screen.

Step three
Remove the adhesive from around the edge of the broken screen and, safely set it aside, (ready for use when fitting your newly bought replacement.)

Step four
Tilt the broken screen slightly towards you and, remove it from the laptop. To fit your replacement Acer Aspire S3 screen, all you need to do is complete the instructions, (outlined above,) in reverse order.
