How to replace a broken Acer Aspire One 725 screen
Step one
Unplug your laptop and rmeove the battery. Next, turn off your machine and disconnect any external devices, (speakers, etc.) You should also make sure that you have backed up all of your data.
Step two
Prise the aesthetic covers off of the bottom two corners of the front bezel. Once you've done that. unscrew the screws hidden underneath the covers.
Step three
Prise the front bezel away from the rest of the laptop.
Step four
Unscrew the screws, (eight in total; six at the bottom, two at the top,) holding the broken screen in place.
Step five
Pull the top of the broken screen slightly towards you and, disconnect the webcam cable. Next, disconnect the thick cable, (with a gold end,) on the back of the screen.
Step six
Lift the broken screen free from the laptop and, safely set it aside. To fit your newly bought replacement screen, all you need do is complete the above instructions in reverse order.
