Replacing a Toshiba Satellite L955 screen
Replacing a Toshiba Satellite L955 screen is much simpler than you might think. Below, you'll find easy to follow, step by step instructions that will help guide you through the screen replacement process.
Toshiba Satellite L955 screen replacement
Step one
Remove the battery from your laptop and, unplug the machine from the mains power. Next, disconnect all external devices, (such as speakers and memory sticks.) Once you've done that, use your fingers or a flat edged implement, (a guitar plectrum or razor,) to prise the aesthetic covers, (located in each corner,) off of the front bezel. Next, unscrew the screws hidden underneath the covers and, set them aside safely. Next, gently, (but firmly,) prise the front bezel away from the rest of the screen casing. Work your way around each edge of the front bezel, freeing it from the laptop.

Step two
Once you've removed the bezel, unscrew the screws, (four in total; open in each corner,) used to hold the broken Toshiba Satellite L955 screen in place.

Step three
Take hold of the top of the broken screen and pull it towards you, laying it to rest, face down, on the keyboard in front. On the back of the screen, (t the very bottom,) you should see a cable attached. Disconnect this cable by peeling back any strips of adhesive holding it in place and, by releasing it from its connector.

Step four
Remove the broken screen from your laptop. To fit your replacement Toshiba Satellite L955 screen, simply follow the steps above in reverse order.
